WHO WE ARE
This is our story.
In January of 2015, local leaders of diverse backgrounds, ages, and ethnicities were invited to watch the movie "Selma" and gather for a discussion afterwards. This invitation, extended by Dr. Clarence Hill, Jr., was a result of years of relational investment and community service. Over 70 people chose to say "yes" and be a part of what would turn into a catalytic evening discussing current and historic race relations, reconciliation, and dreaming about what flourishing for all could really look like. Shared passions, meaningful relationships, and on-going conversations — that recognized and honored the impact of lived experiences — resulted in the formation of the Stronger Together Movement which is continuing to grow and make a significant impact.
OUR VALUES
The Stronger Together Movement centers around four core beliefs.
